Q. What does the process entail?
A. After the initial contact, we can arrange a meeting to discuss further details about the recording, including, who will accompany you? Where will it take place? & whether you would like to include any photos or videos?
Once everything has been discussed, a date can be set for the recording.
As everyone is unique, I cannot give an exact time of how long it will take to record your story, however, it should roughly take anywhere from 2 to 5 hours (including the assembly, & the dismantling of the equipment, & any breaks taken).
Q. How long until I have my finished product?
A. From the day of filming, the rest of the process will take between 2 – 6 weeks. If you intend to make your memoir a gift, please let me know when you require your disc to be ready by, as a lot depends on the bookings I have, & the amount of editing needed to achieve the best finished product.
Q. What if I forget something important shortly after the day of filming?
A. Hopefully if we plan things carefully this won’t happen. However, I am happy to return to capture the extra footage; though I am confident we can work together to see this doesn’t happen.
Q. What about Covid?
A. My family & I take Covid 19 seriously, & are fully up-to-date on our vaccines. If symptoms are showing / there is a possibility of being in contact with someone who has Covid 19, you would be contacted to re-arrange any appointments.
