I’ve lived in Morpeth in Northumberland all my life. I didn’t have a conventional education; I was mostly home schooled – which I loved. I am Dyslexic, and home schooling gave me opportunities to develop skills and interests alongside conventional subjects; eventually earning my BA (Hons) in Performance Arts from Northumbria University via Gateshead College.
I am a member of St. Georges Community Players, and appear regularly in their shows – often as a comedy character. Also, I volunteer for Northumberland Hospital Radio, and produce a news programme which is created from local volunteer groups, who read news articles that make-up the ‘Talking Newspaper’.
For a while I was working in the Morpeth Branch of Marks and Spencer, and so anyone local reading this – I may well have served you!
Over the years, I have created several DVDs; many of family events, and also, produced a promotional video for my brother-in-laws business display at a Birmingham’s National Exhibition Centre.
Initially, I’ll be working on a radius of within 20 miles of Morpeth; if you live any further away than that, please get in touch and perhaps I can work something out.
