Q. What does the process entail?
A. During our initial meeting you can tell me your option of choice; if you have chosen Option Three, you can let me know the extra media you would like included.
We will discuss the most appropriate place for you to do the recording, and whether or not you would like someone, perhaps a family member, to be there during the recording.
Once everything has been discussed, a convenient date can then be chosen for the recording.
Q. How long until I have my finished product?
A. From the day of filming, the rest of the process will take between 2 – 6 weeks. If you intend to make your memoir a gift, please let me know when you require your disk to be ready by, as a lot depends on the bookings I have, & the amount of editing needed to achieve the best finished product.
Q. If the Weather is nice, could my recording be done outside?
A. Unfortunately not. The weather can change so quickly, especially the wind and the sunlight, and as a result there is no way to effectively control the recording environment.
Q. What should I wear?
A. Don’t feel like you have to dress smart, or in a particular way. Your memoir is all about you and your story; wear whatever is the most comfortable and lets you feel authentically you.
Q. What if I want to stop during the recording?
A. That is absolutely fine. Any time you need a break, all you have to do say.
Q. What if I accidentally say something I shouldn’t have?
A. If at any point during your recording you feel this way, please let me know. It’s very easy to edit something from your memoir.
